EDT delivered the structure of what was to become a six storey, 17 luxury apartment building in Lamrock Avenue Bondi Beach.

The challenging site was constrained on three boundaries by existing buildings. The basement was also below the water table, requiring close consultation with adjoining property owners.

The project required the demolition of an existing five story apartment building, major sewer diversion and remediation before building works commenced.

With two basements, the EDT team put forward the smarts for top down construction and installed a perimeter secant piled wall system to remove the requirement for soil anchors. This reduced the construction period and minimises disturbance to adjoining owners.
