After successfully completing the base build of two new commercial buildings in Coniston near Wollongong,
EDT Projects was tasked with completing the
laboratory fitout within for Sonic Healthcare.
While construction was underway of these two industrial buildings in Coniston, EDT Projects were engaged by Sonic Healthcare to fit-out their flagship laboratory facility for the Illawarra Region. Diagnostic laboratory, office spaces, kitchens, break-out areas and lavatories made up the 9,300sqm of space available.
The works included custom built joinery, laboratory flooring, specialist pathology equipment procurement, UPS and backup generator. Complex electrical and mechanical works were key to ensuring the suitability of the fit-out for specialist pathology diagnostics.
